“From early on in the project we had a vision to create a product that was not only unique, but pioneering in the development of golf. The partnerships and relationships that exist within the Nicklaus Companies, as well as our client’s trust in our recommendations, have allowed us to create the project in an innovative and exciting fashion, incorporating a high level of teaching and operations with state of the art synthetic surfaces that eliminate fertilizers and pesticides and preserve an ideal ball reaction.”

“If you want to be the best you have to practice with the best. That’s why I choose Southwest Greens to install and maintain my putting green.”
—Rickie Fowler
“I chose SWG because of the playability of the putting surface. As a PGA Tour Pro, I wanted to practice with a product that equals the play I see on tour. The authentic bounce and true roll has made it not only fun for the entire family but helps me stay on my game in my own backyard.“
—Sam Burns
“I’m very happy with Southwest Greens. They came in here and did a super job. I love this artificial grass. This is a wonderful solution where I always have the perfect practice facility and as a professional golfer that’s really what I care about. It needs to be the best for me to practice and I have it here. I can get the speed I want and also the way the ball reacts when I chip. With an artificial green you can design it the way you want it. With Southwest Greens I get the best artificial grass I can get.”

The Southwest Greens and Nicklaus Design Partnership began in 2004 and has evolved considerably over the years to include an exclusive, premium synthetic turf product bearing the Nicklaus nickname, Golden Bear. Golden Bear is a premium-grade synthetic turf that has the look, feel, and bite of natural grass.
